Our Mobile Screening Clinic is an innovative 18-wheeler that brings screening services to those who wouldn’t otherwise have access to cancer prevention and early detection services.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, approximately 15 percent of Texas residents live in rural areas. Additionally, there are only 300 Rural Health Clinics and 193 Federally Qualified Health Centers located outside of urban areas of the state (Source: Health Resources and Services Administration). Because of this, Moncrief Cancer Institute developed a Mobile Screening Clinic that visits more than 35 rural counties in North and Central Texas.
